Rex Travis Curriculum Vitae

Rex Travis graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1962 and celebrated his 60th year as an Oklahoma attorney in 2022. He practiced insurance defense for nearly 20 years before switching over to representing injured Oklahomans and those denied insurance coverage. Rex practiced as a plaintiffs’ attorney for more than 30 years. 

Rex previously served as an adjunct professor, teaching Insurance Law and previously Conflict of Laws at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and formerly at Oklahoma City University School of Law. Additionally, Rex taught continuing legal education (CLE) courses to attorneys for many years, presenting seminars on “Recent Developments in Insurance Law,” “Uninsured Motorist Insurance,” “Malpractice Avoidance,” and “Advanced Issues in Uninsured Motorists Coverage.” As an active member of both the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma Association for Justice, Rex has spent his career working to shape Oklahoma laws affecting plaintiffs’ cases.
